Who We Are

VOGUE 97.7 FM is a dedicated news and civic conversation radio station based in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, committed to informing, engaging and connecting audiences through credible journalism, intelligent conversations and compelling programming.

With a strong focus on the issues shaping society, VOGUE 97.7 FM brings together news, policy, public affairs, business, entertainment, culture and community conversations, creating a platform where people can stay informed, share perspectives and better understand the world around them.

Guided by our philosophy, “News. Policy. People.”, VOGUE FM believes that radio should do more than report what is happening. It should help people understand why it matters, encourage meaningful public dialogue and give communities the opportunity to participate in conversations that affect their lives.

Our approach is built around credible reporting, responsible storytelling and informed analysis. We are developing a modern, news-first newsroom that embraces evolving forms of journalism, including digital storytelling, mobile journalism, podcasts and multiplatform content, while maintaining the fundamental principles of responsible journalism: think, report, verify and tell.

Our Four Core Pillars

Civic Accountability & Governance

We provide a platform for conversations around leadership, governance, public policy, accountability and the responsibilities of both government and citizens. Through interviews, analysis and public-interest programming, we seek to encourage transparency and informed civic participation.

The Economic Engine

We explore the forces driving businesses, entrepreneurship, employment, investment and economic development across the South-East and Nigeria. Our programming gives listeners practical insight into the economy while creating space for business leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and policymakers to share ideas.

National Integration

VOGUE FM believes in the power of conversation to bring people together. We promote dialogue that encourages understanding across communities, regions and perspectives, contributing to a stronger sense of national identity and shared responsibility.
Heritage & Culture

Our cualture is an important part of who we are. We celebrate the languages, traditions, history, creativity, people and stories that make the South-East and Nigeria unique, while connecting our heritage with the realities and aspirations of a modern generation.

More Than Radio

VOGUE 97.7 FM is being built as more than a conventional radio station. We see ourselves as a platform for ideas, information and meaningful public conversation, one that connects the newsroom with the community and traditional broadcasting with the digital world.

From breaking news and in-depth interviews to public affairs, business discussions, cultural programming and engaging entertainment, our goal is to deliver content that is credible, relevant and worth listening to.

At VOGUE 97.7 FM, we are committed to giving the people of the South-East and Nigeria at large a trusted platform to be informed, heard and connected.
