Imo State has recorded another achievement in the world of pageantry, as its representative, Isinwa Chidozie Senator, has emerged as the winner of Mr Universe Nigeria 2026 and Mr Cosmo Nigeria.
Senator was crowned at the grand finale of the competition held on Saturday at Skyview, The Lekki Coliseum, Lagos. His victory means he will now represent Nigeria at the Mister Cosmo International pageant in Vietnam in January.
As part of his prizes, Senator is expected to receive a brand-new car, cash awards and other gifts valued at more than ₦7 million.
A fashion model and sports enthusiast, Senator is an alumnus of Imo State University, where he previously held the title of Mr Imo State University. He had also finished as first runner-up in an earlier edition of Misters of Nigeria before returning to compete for the national crown.
Other winners at the event included Mr Lagos as first runner-up and Mr Edo as second runner-up. Mr Benue won the Gentlemanx Top Model category, while Mr Enugu emerged as Mister Tourism Africa Nigeria. Mr Ogun was also named Man of the Year.
Senator’s victory gives him an opportunity to take Imo State and Nigeria to the international stage as he competes against representatives from other countries at the Mister Cosmo International pageant.
