Key stakeholders from government, financial services, technology and business sectors in Imo State, alongside Interswitch, have pledged to work together to promote sustainable digital transformation in the state. The Guardian Nigeria
The commitment was made at the sixth edition of Interswitch’s TechConnect 6.0, held at Protea Hotel in Owerri, under the theme, “Built for What’s Next: Designing Adaptive Financial Infrastructure for a Dynamic Market.”
The stakeholders discussed how better digital and financial infrastructure can improve public services, support businesses, encourage innovation and drive economic growth.
The Executive Chairman of the Imo State Internal Revenue Service, Justice R. Okoye, stressed the importance of connected infrastructure in strengthening institutions and improving service delivery.
Interswitch Vice President of Business Innovation and Growth, Tyoyila Aga, said digital infrastructure must be resilient, secure, flexible and inclusive. He also highlighted cybersecurity, data governance, interoperability and digital inclusion as key areas for sustainable digital growth.
Participants also called for stronger partnerships between government and the private sector, as well as greater investment in digital skills and reliable systems.
